Batteries, medications, and toy vehicles
are all packaged in blister trays. Even while blister packs are typically
associated with the packaging of pharmaceuticals, any item that has a plastic
front and a different material for the back qualifies as a blister package.
Many blister packing machines produce the cavity or pocket from a roll or sheet
of plastic by applying heat and pressure through a die. Blister trays are
perfect for a variety of purposes, including the packaging of pharmaceuticals,
electronic devices, or toys, because to the tough material they are made of.
The cost of packaging is decreased since blister packs reduce the requirement
for extra cartons.
